Cat Door Upgrade
The old cat door is not doing well in the cold weather. I tried adding insulation and a makeshift tunnel to at least confine the draft so it doesn’t blow under my desk onto my feet, but it’s still leaking heat like a sieve.

I Finally Built a Computer Cage to Keep the Cat Out
The kitten no longer bites my computer cables [much] but he still wants to crawl around in them. More recently he started climbing up the back of the machines to lie on top, which is where the intake fans are for the CPU cooler so that has to stop. In his climbing on the connectors he also did something to one of the machines that screwed it up so bad that I had to temporarily unplug all the cables to get it to boot at all.

There were distress meows for the entire car ride (both ways), he pooped in his carrier while we were waiting in the lobby, large dogs were walking past in close proximity, he got poked and prodded by strangers, a blood test, claw trimming, and a bunch of medication (the unexpected stool sample saved me a trip and revealed roundworms and coccidia).

After a couple hours one of them seemed to take a shine to me and so now I have a very affectionate little ball of needles.
