Not much new this week. More heat and more beetle damage, but the beds are still generally green and thick.

We apparently set a 150-year record for days over 90 degrees, and even with some rain the plants are having a rough time and not flowering much. Several stalks have bent over and then abruptly snapped when I tried to tie them up.

There’s still plenty of good bugs around, at least:
