The Brood X cicadas are mostly done at this point. I still hear one occasionally but the only ones I’ve seen in the past week or so are dead.

Certainly a lot of the wildlife has been feasting on them. For example I walked past the fence one day and noticed a jumping spider had managed to catch one.

I did find them on my flowers plenty of times, but as far as I know they don’t do any real damage to them, so I didn’t worry about it.

The remaining visual indicators of them, aside from the dead ones scattered around, are brown patches in the trees where they’ve killed small branches by laying eggs in them. After a storm it’s also common for the branches to break off and litter the yard.
