Another fairly elaborate Technic vehicle. I sorted out the parts first but then had to take a break of several days before putting them together. I covered the parts with some cloths which at least kept things roughly in place when the cat decided to lie down on them.

The build has you assemble the drive train, transmission, and engine first. The engine is not as elaborate as in some other kits but it does have some little pins that move up and down as the gears turn. The cat hung around while I was working on it, as usual.

Then the seats and interior are added, along with some other components such as a little ratcheting winch mechansim. The suspension is fairly bouncy when it’s all done.

Then the doors and other body work are attached to complete the model. A lot of the gears are still visible from underneath. There are three differentials and a transmission with high/low modes and various speeds, though it’s so elaborate that if you roll the vehicle it might take a couple feet of movement to take up all the slack before the pistions finally start moving.
